Statement of Faith
1. God
We believe in one sovereign God, eternally existing in three persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—each fully God and united in essence. God is holy, just, all-knowing, all-powerful, and ever-present. He is the Creator and Sustainer of all things and works all things according to the counsel of His will for His glory and the good of His people.

2. Scripture
We believe that the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God, written by human authors under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is the final standard for faith and life, revealing all that we need to know for salvation and godliness.

3. Humanity and Sin
We believe that God created humanity in His image, upright and good, to know and glorify Him. However, through Adam’s disobedience, sin entered the world, and all humanity fell into a state of total depravity—unable to seek God or do any spiritual good apart from grace.

4. Jesus Christ
We believe that Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, who became truly human while remaining truly God. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, suffered, died on the cross for the atonement of sin, rose bodily from the dead, and ascended into heaven. He is the only mediator between God and man.

5. Salvation by Grace
We believe that salvation is entirely the result of God's grace. Because of human depravity, no one can turn to God unless drawn by His Spirit. God sovereignly elects His people, Christ atones only for the elect, the Spirit irresistibly draws them, and all whom God saves will persevere.

6. The Holy Spirit
We believe in the Holy Spirit, the third Person of the Trinity. He convicts the world of sin, regenerates sinners, dwells in believers, and sanctifies them. The Spirit produces spiritual fruit, grants assurance, equips the Church with gifts, and sustains believers in their Christian life.

7. The Church
We believe that the Church is the one, holy, catholic, and apostolic body of Christ, composed of all true believers. It is called to preach the Word, administer the sacraments, practice discipline, and pursue worship, discipleship, and mission. Christ is the head of the Church.

8. The Sacraments
We believe that Baptism and the Lord’s Supper are the only two sacraments instituted by Christ. Baptism is a sign and seal of inclusion in God's covenant. The Lord’s Supper is a spiritual communion with Christ, affirming His atoning work and nourishing faith.

9. The Christian Life and Mission
We believe that Christians are called to live lives of gratitude and obedience, empowered by grace. We are to reflect Christ’s character in all areas of life—personal, social, and cultural—through acts of love, justice, mercy, and stewardship.

10. The Return of Christ and the New Creation
We believe that Christ will return in glory to judge the living and the dead, raise the dead bodily, and renew all creation. We affirm the amillennial view, in which Christ presently reigns spiritually and will consummate His kingdom in the new heaven and new earth.

Our Foundations
We affirm the following historical and Reformed confessions as faithful summaries of biblical teaching:
-
Ecumenical Creeds: Apostles’ Creed, Nicene Creed, Athanasian Creed
-
Three Forms of Unity: Heidelberg Catechism, Belgic Confession, Canons of Dort
Core Values
Christ-Centered: Jesus is the foundation of everything we build. His gospel shapes our message, our methods, and our mission.
Imperfect People, Radical Grace: We are a community of broken people made whole by grace. We lead with humility, authenticity, and compassion.
City-Focused: We love our cities deeply-seeking their good, serving their needs, and praying for their renewal.
Multiplication Over Maintenance: We plant churches, raise leaders, and build movements- not monuments.
Life Together: We believe spiritual growth happens in community. We practice hospitality, accountability, and shared mission.
Mission Over Comfort: We choose boldness over safety, obedience over convenience, and purpose over preference-for the sake of Christ's kingdom.
Joyful Witness: We choose joy as evidence of grace. In the tension and beauty of the city, our gladness in Christ becomes a living testimony that the gospel sustains, restores, and overflows-in both the high's and the low's of life.
